How to go:
Kayseri - Erciyes
Flight to Kayseri:
There are several Flights from Ankara and Istanbul.
Buy Bus to to Kayseri:
You can take a bus from Istanbul to Kayseri. It takes more about
10 hours. The companies are:

To Erciyes:
If you want to climb from south route, you should go to Ski-resort.
There are shuttles to the resort. You can take a lift with 2 etage up
. Attention: Seytan Valley is very dangerous
because of avalange in winter. On summer there are falling stones.
If you want to climb from north side, you have to go
to Sutdonduran (2650m.) via Hacilar. You can rent a privat shutle in
Kayseri. Or you can take the local bus from Kayseri to Hacilar and you
can rent a private shuttle (around 50 USD) from Hacilar.
Accommodation on Mountain:
On south side, after skiresort you climb up until the end of ski-lifts.
You will reach a plato very shortly after the last station. If you go
up until summit further, there is a monk cave 30 m. under the summit
(grand).

Route:
From south site, the route is very dangers due to avalange. You
should go up to the Seytan Valley (not in winter- avalange!). You will
reach the grad of the mountain. on your left side (west) you can see
the Buyuk zirve (grand summit). The monk cave is on this side. On the
right side (east), you will see kucuk zirve (small summit).

From North side, you will see the Glacer. If you want
to climb up the glacer you need crampons and ice gear. There are glacer
splits.

You can go to Kucuk Erciyes by walking. To reach to
the Buyuk Erciyes, you have to climb up 20m. tower. You need climbing
equipments. The route is on the north side inside a chimney, IV difficulty
and the rocks are very unstable.
